The overstory is the uppermost layer of foilage in a forest, a dense and interconnected canopy that protects the forest but often blocks out the light.
Each of us has an overstory of our own.
Patterns, beliefs and coping strategies shaped over time to protect us, help us survive and make sense of the world.
Together, we explore how it formed, what it is protecting and where it may be blocking light and preventing growth and healing.
With care and intention, we create openings.
We allow light and clarity to reach the darkest places.
Inspired by The Overstory by Richard Powers, this practice is rooted in the idea that healing happens through connection. Connection to ourselves, to others and to the living systems around us.
We offer therapy that is grounded, relational and shaped by the understanding that we grow best when we’re part of something larger.
